Scotland's road casualties are at their lowest since records began in the 1930's and over the past decade we have seen reductions in all areas, including a significant reduction in the number of children killed or seriously injured.
However, up to one third of all road casualties still involve someone who is driving for work and more employees are killed in 'at work road accidents' than in all other occupational accidents.
One of the main ways to tackle this ongoing issue is to encourage and support more employers to develop and manage a road risk policy. This is a document which sets out how your organisation, regardless of size, can put in place measures which will help prevent accidents and reduce the ever increasing associated costs.
Drive Safe Scotland is a new and completely free resource which has been designed to allow you to quickly assess your organisations current level of road risk and thereafter provide you with the necessary free support and resources to help you reduce that risk.
All you have to do is click on the 'Take on-line questionnaire' button below and you will be directed to the initial contact page where you will be asked to enter your company details before taking the online questionnaire.
On completion of the questionnaire you will be able to print off or save, a bespoke plan which recommends what action you need to take and provides links to receive free support from those organisations involved.
All information provided is protected and will only be used by those agencies involved in the project to promote road safety.
The questionnaire should take no more than 10 minutes.
Thank you for helping to make our roads and communities safe for all.
